Washing is a after treatment process of textile. It is done for making the dyed or printed material fresh. Sometimes garments is also washed.

Washing is done in different ways and by using different chemical. Sometime washing is done with water only.

Washing increase the light fastness of a fabric and it also develops the quality of a fabric or textile materials.

Treatment of textile material in water or detergent solution to remove substances employed in previous processes.
