Textile Engineering and Technology demand is increasing day by day. It is very familiar to all that among all Engineering & Technology subjects Textile Technology have the best place now a days. As a Textile Engineering & Technology Student i fell very proud.

Demand will increase more and more, no doubt about it. Demand of every sector like Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing Printing, Apparel Manufacturing are increasing very smoothly.

For supporting the textile education there are some school, college and universities all over the world. But, now I'm just making a simple list of Textile related education institution from Bangladesh.

It an oldest private university in Bangladesh. they offers many subjects with Textile Engineering. They have a scope for Diploma textile passed student i.e diploma passed students may study there in B.Sc. in Textile Engineering Course.

Another private university which offers in B.Sc. in Textile Engineering.


3. Bangladesh University of Textiles Web: www.but.edu.bd
First public textile university in Bangladesh and may be third in Asia. However, it has started its journey from 2010. It offers B.Sc. and M.S in Textile Engineering.


4. Begumgonj Textile Engineering College, Noakhali Wikipedia Link
It is a textile college under the University of Chittagong offers B.Sc. in Textile Engineering. It was a diploma college under Technical Education Board Bangladesh.


5. BGMEA Institute of Fashion & Technology (BIFT) http://www.bift.info/
This is a fashion and technology institute in Bangladesh. They offers B.Sc. courses about fashion technology. They are playing a vital role in the sector of fashion in Bangladesh.


6. Chittagong Textile Engineering College
This is another govt. textile engineering college. This college is under University of Chittagong and Ministry of Jute & Textile, Bangladesh.

This is a non-govt university in Bangladesh offers some subjects including Textile Engineering. They have a good record in Textile Sector in Bangladesh.

Probably this university is second Textile offering non-govt in Bangladesh. They are very good in Textile study.

Green university has been added Textile Engineering Course recently. It is non-govt university.

This is a public university of Bangladesh situated in Tangail, Bangladesh. They offers many subjects for completing Bachalor, Masters, M.Phil and PhD. Textile engineering department is a remarkable department in this university.


11. Pabna Textile Engineering College http://pabnatx.blogspot.com

It is the best Govt. Textile Engineering College in Bangladesh. They offers B.Sc. in Textile Engineering Course for 4 years. Students are very demanding in the textile industries who have passed from Pabna textile Engineering College. The college is located in Shalgaria, Pabna.

This is a non-govt university in Bangladesh offers some subjects including Textile Engineering. They are good in Textile Department.

Southeast university is also a private university in Bangladesh offering 4 year Bachelor degree in Textile Engineer.


14. Tangail Textile Engineering College
It is a govt. textile engineering college located in Tangail, Bangladesh. It is only for diploma holders.

It is private university.

World university has been started textile engineering department newly.

17. Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology www.duet.ac.bd
This a public university and only for Diploma holders. There is also a Textile Engineering Depertmant.
